Community Events & Special Visits

Community Therapy Dogs Society is proud to participate in community events that help raise awareness, build connection, and share the positive impact of therapy dog visits. From local markets and information fairs to school, libraries, seniors and community wellness events, our volunteers and their dogs help create moments of comfort, conversation and joy. These events also give us the opportunity to connect with new volunteers, community partners, donors and supporters who share our belief in Helping People, One Dog at a time.

Volunteer Support

In addition to our therapy dog team volunteers, we also welcome volunteers who want to help with event support, administration, outreach, and CTDS activities.

Corporate & Community Partnerships

Companies and community groups can get involved by hosting a therapy dog visit, organizing a workplace fundraiser, or partnering with CTDS to bring comfort, connection, and joy to more people in our community.

Your support helps CTDS continue to bring comfort, connection, and joy free of charge to children, adults and seniors across Calgary and surrounding communities.

Donations help sustain our volunteer-led programs, support therapy dog team visits, and strengthen our ability to serve more people in the community.

Note: Our donation platform, Zeffy, allows CTDS to receive donations without fees. You will see an optional contribution to Zeffy at checkout, which is completely voluntary and can be adjusted to $0 by selecting "Other" before completing the donation. We will still receive 100% of your generosity!

You can also support CTDS by donating your eligible bottles and cans through Skip The Depot. It is an easy way to turn recyclables into community support for our programs.
