CKC Canine Good Neighbor Classes
offered by The Beast Boutique!
Whether your goal is to prepare for the CKC Good Neighbor certificate or the CTDS dog assessment, the CKC Good Neighbour classes are a great first step...helping your dog build the calm manners, confidence, and leash skills that are important in therapy dog settings!
Starting Tuesday, September 15, this six-week program runs through October 20 from 7:00-8:00 pm and is perfect for dogs and handlers who want to develop good manners, reliable behaviour, and everyday confidence.
Whether your goal is to prepare for the CKC Canine Good Neighbour Test or simply enjoy a more well-behaved companion at home and in the community, these classes offer practical training in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Throughout the course, you and your dog will work on:
•Polite greetings with people and other dogs
•Walking calmly on a loose leash
•Basic obedience and impulse control
•Confidence in new situations
•Handling and grooming acceptance
•Real-world manners that make everyday life easier
Dogs that attend daycare or regular grooming often benefit even more from these skills, making their visits less stressful and more enjoyable for everyone. Spaces are limited to ensure individual attention, so we encourage you to reserve your spot early.

A Great Day at Day of the Dog YYC
CTDS was thrilled to take part in Day of the Dog YYC on July 26. The event brought together a wonderful crowd of people and dogs of every breed, size and colour, and organizers shared that it was their best Calgary event to date.
