CTDS Volunteer Application Form

To qualify as a therapy dog team, you and your dog must undergo a comprehensive assessment. This process is structured to confirm that both you and your dog are prepared for the responsibilities involved. The evaluation focuses on whether your dog is well-suited to the role and comfortable working as a therapy dog. Throughout the assessment, your dog’s general manners, house training, ability to remain calm, and responsiveness to your instructions—even when surrounded by distractions—will be carefully observed.
